The annual Awards for Excellence recognizes the industry’s best of the best in transaction and development categories. Held each November, the awards event closes out the year for NAIOP and showcases the talent, ingenuity and stability of the Chicago CRE markets.

The NAIOP Chicago Awards for Excellence has a long history of supporting charitable causes while also promoting recognition of the real estate industry.

  • NAIOP Chicago Foundation

    The 501c3 arm of the NAIOP Chicago Chapter is dedicated to furthering the work of the University Scholarship program, supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives, and advocating for policy efforts in the industry.

  • University Initiative

    In 2014, NAIOP Chicago launched their University Initiative and now donates the revenue from the Awards event to fund the University Scholarship Program, which supports and encourages the next generation of real estate professionals.

  • Local Charities

    Previously, NAIOP Chicago partnered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, donating over $350,000 to their efforts in the Chicagoland area, and Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, raising more than $250,000 to enhance and expand their programs for children and families.
