The NAIOP Chicago Future Leaders University Scholarship provides tuition assistance each year to undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing a career in the commercial real estate industry. This scholarship is unique – in addition to financial assistance, we provide professional benefits that will help you be career ready, by giving you access to, and interaction with, real estate professionals not only in the Chicago area, but also nationwide.
2024-2025 Applicant Criteria:
- Applicants must be an undergraduate (fulltime) or graduate student (must be enrolled in a minimum of 4 classes within a year from application date)
- Maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Attend one of the following schools:
- DePaul University
- Illinois Institute of Technology
- Loyola University
- Marquette University
- Northeastern Illinois University
- Northwestern University
- Roosevelt University
- The University of Chicago
- The University of Illinois at Chicago
Please note: All applicants that move onto the Finalist stage will be required to participate in a personal interview with the Selection Committee comprised of NAIOP Chicago University Scholarship Jury.
2024-2025 Scholarship Winner Benefits (Multiple scholarships awarded):
- $5,000 towards school tuition
- A one-year NAIOP Developing Leaders Membership
- Complimentary meeting attendance at NAIOP Chicago events for one year
- Inclusion in the 2025 NAIOP Chicago Mentorship Program
- DL Connector – Pairing scholarship winner with a NAIOP Chicago young professional
