NAIOP Chicago Comments on proposed Watershed Management Ordinance (WMO)

08.22.14

NAIOP Chicago submitted a second letter to the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) requesting a more balanced approach to the proposed WMO.  In a letter date February 13, 2014, NAIOP Chicago stated that “the impacts of the WMO will at the very least slow the rate of re-development in these communities and will negatively impact Cook County as developments and tax dollars are taken outside of the County.”

The letter offers alternatives to the proposed provisions of the ordinance in order to mitigate the potential economic impacts of the WMO (Watershed Management Ordinance).
