NAIOP Chicago Comments on proposed Watershed Management Ordinance (WMO)

NAIOP Chicago has been closely following the developments of the proposed Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) Watershed Management Ordinance (WMO) process.
The Chapter has submitted a letter to the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) requesting a more balanced approach to the proposed WMO. The letter dated March 14, 2013 states “that less restrictive detention requirements and the implementation of Best Management practices can be incorporated into the new WMO without negatively impacting re-development”.
