Shawn Clark serves as President of CRG. With over fifteen years in the commercial real estate industry, Shawn is responsible for providing strategic direction for the company and managing day-to-day operations. In addition, Shawn maintains an active role in deal structuring, fund and project level financing activities, development management, and asset management.

Under Shawn’s leadership, CRG has expanded its national industrial, residential, and office

development platform with eight regional offices, launched four fund vehicles, and completed over $6 billion of transactions. Shawn recently launched CRG’s new Industrial Acquisition division with industry-recognized top talent from Duke Realty’s leadership team.

Shawn earned his Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance from DePaul University and his

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science and Management from Clemson University. Shawn is the founder of Illumination, an immersive theatrical event that raises awareness and funds for rare disease research. Since its inception in 2016, Illumination has raised $8.6 million to support its mission. Shawn is also an active Steering Committee member for the Chicago Real Estate Awards benefiting Greater Chicago Food Depository.
