Expand Your Knowledge – Connect with Industry Leaders

The NAIOP Chicago Mentorship Program provides the opportunity for Developing Leader Members (Mentee) and NAIOP Chicago Affiliate Members (Mentor) to forge a long-lasting professional relationship that is mutually beneficial to both.

The Mentorship Program provides Mentees the chance to learn different aspects or gain a deeper knowledge of the real estate industry from an experienced, well-rounded professional. The Mentor provides career and professional advice and guidance to assist the Mentee’s efforts to succeed in the real estate industry. Mentors and Mentees commit to a one-year term with at least one meeting per quarter in addition to a Mentorship Kick-Off (April), a mid-year program and a Closing Reception (November).

The NAIOP Chicago Mentorship program is open to Developing Leaders who have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the real estate industry. Participants from previous years are eligible to reapply. Program fees apply.

Applications for the 2018 NAIOP Chicago Mentorship Program are now being accepted through Friday, March 9th. 

I’m actively involved in NAIOP Chicago because it offers a terrific cross section of the commercial real estate community including developers, brokers, lenders and service providers, at all organizational levels – from young professionals to the C-suite.  As my involvement with NAIOP has progressed, I have enjoyed mentoring young leaders through the NAIOP-sponsored Developing Leaders program.  Hopefully this guidance has helped others as much as the experience has helped me.
